Antenna Resource Management

The top deck of a Navy ship is covered with antennas, often causing a number of difficulties in operations. The objective of the AMRFS program is to "develop and demonstrate an integrated RF system, with Radar, Communications, and Electronic Warfare capability, [in order to] significantly reduce the number of required topside antennas". In this project, Teledyne Scientific Company has applied decision analysis to the allocation of transmitter and receiver array segments for multiple radar, communications and EW tasks.
